November 15th is America Recycles Day, in order to show our support, the Mayor has declared the week of November 15th through November 19th , Newton Recycles Week!

What can you do?
Fully participate in Newton 's Curbside Recycling Program .
Visit our Recycling Depot .
Check out our Recycle and Donate Listings to see what else you can recycle.
Bring in your old cell phones, ink jet cartridges, and rechargeable batteries to City Hall for recycling.
Junk your Junk Mail! Stop by the Customer Service Office in City Hall to pick up your free kit.
Start Composting at home! Click here for more information.
At home and at work, be sure to place a recycling container next to each trash container
Bring reusable bags to the store when you do your shopping.
Buy recycled-content products! "Close the loop"
Use paper on both sides before recycling.
When working with large documents, make sure you've proofread and made changes before printing it out.
