Meetings are held in the recently renovated Brigham House. The Brigham House is the location of the former Newton Highlands branch library. It is now used as a community center building, servicing the needs of the neighborhood, the city’s youth, and other community programs.
Newton Highlands Neighborhood Area Council meetings are open to the public. Please contact Keith Tornheim (tornheim@bu.edu) (627-3859) if you would like to bring an agenda item up for discussion.
Our meetings generally consist of discussions about community events such as Village Day, the Winter Social, the Halloween Haunted House, as well as neighborhood development, parking, and other items of local interest.
