OFFICE for VOLUNTEER SERVICES
MISSION
The Office for Volunteer Services is a new referral agency to match volunteers within the City of Newton to existing local non-profits and community service agencies.
INDIVIDUALS
In order for us to help
identify your skills and desires, individuals should fill out a Volunteer Application and return it to our office. Community service
allows citizens to address some of the compelling human and environmental
concerns facing Newton while providing opportunities for citizens to establish
meaningful connections with their neighbors at large.
STUDENTS
More and more students are
considering community services. By volunteering or interning at one of the many
local groups or agencies, you may gain credit for a community service learning
course, and a worthwhile activity on your resume! Please fill out a Volunteer
Application and return it to our office.
GROUPS and AGENCIES
Be sure we have your contact
information, mission, and volunteer needs in our database. We will help
publicize your volunteer needs and enhance your volunteer recruitment. Contact
