The Card shows: A colored halftone of a view of the Charles basin at Norumbega, with the Norumbega Park boathouses in the center distance, the MDC station boathouse on the right, and a woman and two children in the left foreground feeding ducks on the river. The manufacturer's credit runs vertically down the dividing line of the back: " 'Lusterchrome' Reg. U. S. Pat. Off. Made only by Tichnor Bros., Inc., Boston, 15, Mass." The publisher's credit runs up the left edge of the card back: "Pub. by G. & S. Paper Co., Inc., West Newton, 65, Mass." The photograph could have been taken any time between the late 1940s and 1964, when the Norumbega boathouses burned. Like the other cards in the Tichnor/G. & S. Paper Co. series, it is assigned a date of 1955. The card is unused and in excellent condition. The back of the card, printed in violet ink, is clean except for "1957" in pencil.
