Off-leash Dog Area Regulations

This park belongs to all of us, please be considerate of other users

Dogs must

 

Be leashed outside the off-leash area

 

Be under your control at all times

 

Wear licenses and identification tags with owner's name and phone number

 

Be current with vaccinations, healthy and parasite free

 

Be at least 4 months of age to be off leash

 

Not disturb or threaten other dogs, persons or wildlife

 

Not be in Heat

Owner/Handlers must

 

Immediately pick up and dispose of all dog waste

 

Accompany your dog at all times

 

Carry a separate leash for each dog

 

Not have more than three (3) dogs off leash at any time

You are responsible for any damage on public property caused by your dog

Old Cold Spring Park

 

Hours of operation are:

Dawn-Dusk

 

Off-leash dogs must not enter the wooded area, trails, or the athletic fields

Any dog which is the subject of a complaint, investigation, order or proceeding under Section 3-25 or Section 3-27 of this ordinance, and/or under General Laws Chapter 140, section 157 shall be banned from designated off-leash areas.
