It is time to get your dog’s 2011 license!  All dogs over the age over 6 months must be licensed by April 1st each year.  Proof of rabies vaccination is required.

Overview The City Clerk is the official record keeper for the City of Newton. Records kept by the Office of the City Clerk include but are not limited to vital statistics (birth, marriage, and death certificates), Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings, Business Certificates (DBA’s), appeals from decisions of the Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board, and filings from City Boards and Commissions. The City Clerk is the official keeper of the City Seal and City Ordinances. All notifications and documents are public records, with some exceptions pertaining to vital records.
