Responsiblities to improve and maintain the city's 300-plus mile street network for the safety of pedestrians and motorists.
Transportation

Director of Transportation: Clint Schuckel, PE

Responsibilities: To improve and maintain a safe and efficient transportation infrastructure for use by motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians alike, including all traffic signals, traffic signs, streetlights/gaslights, pavement markings, and parking meters. The Transportation Division is responsible for traffic/parking management during construction and special events as well as engineering and design of traffic signals, traffic calming, and traffic safety projects.
