Fire Stations There are 6 fire stations in Newton. They are located in Newton Corner, Newtonville, West Newton, Newton Highlands, Newton Centre, Oak Hill.
Other Fire Department Facts Manual fire alarm system with mutual aid connection to neighboring communities. Two-way radio systems for Newton and another system connecting Newton Fire Dept. Headquarters with 34 surrounding fire departments. 1100 fire alarm boxes, 142 police boxes, 7 engines, 3 ladder trucks, 1 emergency response unit, 21 other vehicles including reserve apparatus, mechanics truck, communications division vehicles, fire prevention, etc.
