The Card shows:
A colored lithograph of a photographic view of the bridge. The model in the bowler hat who appears in other Ordway photographs in this series is posed in his canoe in the foreground. This is the colored version of A 6996, also in the collection. The 1905 copyright line appears just above the caption the lower left.
The card was mailed from Newton Corner on October 13, 1905, addressed to Mr. Henry E. Swanson, Standard Oil Co., 50 Congress St., Boston, Mass. The message on the front reads, "October 13th, 1905. Congratulations & best wishes -- Many happy returns of the day. T.G." The back is clean except for the address and postmark and the card is in very good condition, with slightly blunted corners.
