The Card shows:
Three small halftones mortised into a montage show three views on the Charles -- Echo Bridge, Norumbega Tower (map), and the Weston Bridge (map) with a pair of canoes in the water beside it.
The card is marked on the back "Private Mailing Card -- Authorized by Act of Congress of May 19, 1898 -- Postal Card. -- Carte Postale. -- This side is exclusively for the address." The publisher's credit runs vertically up the left edge of the front. It reads "Published by Newton Art. Co, Newtonville, Mass. No. 96."
The blank areas of the front have been marked by rubbing, perhaps while the card was in an album, because there are clean triangular areas at the corners. The back of the card is clean. The card is in excellent condition.
