The Card shows:
Colored lithograph of a photographic view of the aqueduct taken from a vantage point on the mill dam looking north. The water level in the river is very low, revealing stones and gravel bars in the streambed. The format of the image is vertical, with the bottom quarter of the card front left blank for a message.
The complete publisher's credit runs vertically along the left edge of the undivided card back: "5796 Published by the New England News Co., Boston, Mass., Leipzig, Dresden. Though the ANC New York cloverleaf logo is missing from the card, the typefaces used for the credit and "Post Card" indicate that this card was produced by that manufacturer.
The card is clean except for some soil along the edges, "75c" in pencil, and "3.--" erased. Condition is good, with edge and corner wear. A second copy of the card also in the collection shows tape marks and album marks.
