The Card shows:
A colored lithograph of a photographic view of the aqueduct taken from a viewpoint toward the eastern end of the lower dam looking south. A mill building is visible under the arch. The view is identical to the Illustrated Postal Card Co. view number 178-34. Both of these views appear to be heavily retouched versions of the monochrome lithograph of the same subject identified only as "1940."

The card was mailed on Oct. 11, 1910 from Watertown, Mass. to Mr. George Jenkins, Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The message reads, "Dear Friend, Glad to receive a card. I always like to hear from Boothbay. I often have wished I were there again. Hope to see you up this way soon. Mario wishes to be remembered to you. Remember me to Ned. Yours respectfully, Mrs. R. W." The card is in good condition with some edge and corner wear. There is a fold at the lower left corner and the stamp is missing. The back is marked with "25" and a circled "D-90-15" in pencil.
