The Card shows:
A color lithograph of a photographic view of the Charles running between brushy banks, with massive rocks on the right and what may be a rock wall or dike on the left. The red roof of a building is visible in the center distance.

The card was mailed from Newton on August 31, 1916, to Mr. E. L. Bacon, c/o Mrs. T. W. Graves, Warrnen Ave., Pymouth, Mass. The message reads, "Dear Edward, I received your postal yesterday. I was glad to hear from you. Etta went yesterday, and I am all alone. Good bye, Katie." A P.S. is squeezed in at the top next to the PSCCo. "SouvoChrome Superior Quality" logo: "I'm going over to my brothers Saturday and stay over labor day."

The card is in fair condition. There is considerable edge wear and chipping, and a fold mars the upper left center. It is stamped on the back, "The Jackson Homestead." The card is part of a series of cards that were published perhaps about 1910.
