The Card shows:
A blue-tinted lithograph of a photographic view of the aqueduct from a viewoint on the western bank of the Charles just above the dam at the lower end of Hemlock Gorge. The river is very low -- a dock on the eastern bank is high above the water.
The view is the same one used for the cards numbered A 6962 and G 6962. Like them, the card is copyrighted 1905 -- the copyright line runs vertically down the right side of the card back. The complete manufacturer's credit runs vertically up the left edge: "11140 The Rotograph Co., N. Y., City. (Germany.)" The number 11140 creates a bit of a mystery. Other cards of this style are part of a "D" series, and one would expect to see this card numbered D 6962, but such is not the case. Also, the view used for this card exists in two versions. The card is in excellent condition. It is unused, and the back is clean except for the Jackson Homestead stamp.
