Newton's Burying Grounds

Volunteers Needed!

Whatever your skills, talents or abilities we could use your help at Historic Newton. The museum and its archives explore every aspect of Newton’s rich heritage including its role as a station on the Underground Railroad. The museum's home, the Jackson Homestead, offers permanent and temporary exhibits, lectures, tours, school and group programs, workshops, research and volunteer opportunities, and other annual programs and events for adults, families and children.

Historic Newton is a non-profit civic organization with many exciting projects, events, and activities just waiting for your special contributions. Opportunities are available in all areas.

Historic Newton welcomes the participation of individuals, families, students, and businesses. By volunteering your services you will be joining and meeting with others interested in supporting Newton's history for both present and future generations.

To become a volunteer, complete an application form and return it to the Volunteer Coordinator. For more information call us at 617-796-1450.
