Newton is home to some of the finest examples of nineteenth and early twentieth-century domestic architecture in America. The annual Spring House Tour is a 25-year tradition that celebrates this distinctive heritage and showcases unique Newton homes to benefit the Newton History Museum at The Jackson Homestead. The 2007 House Tour is scheduled for May 20, noon to 5 p.m. To be added to the mailing list and receive updated information about the schedule and the houses on the tour, please call 617-796-1450 or e-mail your request to museuminfo@newtonma.gov. To volunteer with the tour, please complete the volunteer form and return it to the Museum. To thank you for your assistance, volunteers receive a complementary ticket to tour the homes during their off shift.
