This family-oriented exhibition looks at the connections between people and animals across Newton's history. From the dairy cows and horses the early residents relied on to the pets we cherish today, animals have assisted and inspired Newton residents for centuries. More





Newton Salutes! The Chestnut Hill School: Celebrating 150 Years of Excellence
Through May 2010

The Chestnut Hill School is an independent, coeducational elementary school located in Chestnut Hill, comprised of a preschool program, an all-day Kindergarten, and Grades 1-6. In 2010, the school is celebrating the anniversary of its founding in 1860. Featuring photos and artifacts from the school’s past, Celebrating 150 Years of Excellence showcases the school’s rich history. About Newton Salutes!.
