Community Exhibits at the Jackson Homestead and Museum

The Jackson Homestead's Newton Salutes! exhibit program offers Newton’s civic, social, community, religious, and athletic organizations the opportunity to share their history with the public.

The museum provides exhibit space through the Newton Salutes! program to community organizations who design and create their own exhibit about their history to be displayed for four months at the museum. Staff members are available to consult with your organization’s exhibit planners, and will publicize your exhibit in the museum’s newsletter and calendar of events. In addition, we will schedule a special preview party or opening for your members and friends.

Historic Newton invites Newton organizations to submit an application for the Newton Salutes! program. Your application should include brief descriptions of the exhibit topic, materials, and photos. Once a proposal is accepted, exhibition dates will be finalized.

For a proposal form or more information about Newton Salutes!, contact Historic Newton at 617-796-1450.
