Photograph Collections

Strengths include the Ufford Collection with an emphasis on Auburndale; the Gilday Collection with emphasis on Newton Upper Falls; over 4,000 photographs taken by the City of Newton Engineering and Street Department between the 1890s and the 1950s, by the City of Newton Recreation Department taken between 1900 and the 1960s, and by the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce between the 1970s and 1980s.
