Mission Statement

To provide the city with a telecommunications infrastructure capable of handling current and future technology needs, and to provide accurate and timely information systems and technical support to all city departments and agencies and ultimately to its customers, the residents of Newton.

Proud Recipient, 2001 - 2010 Common Cause eGovernment Award, with distinction

Since the inception of awards for local government websites in 2007, Common Cause has recognized the City of Newton every year in respect to Municipalities who post their governing body’s minutes and agenda, their budget, their bylaws, and, if applicable, their town meeting warrant and results.
