Newton Swim Team - Winter 2010-2011


Newton Swim Team uses the swim facilities of the Newton North Indoor Recreation Center. Participants are encouraged to make as many practice sessions as possible each week.  The emphasis of this team is on individual improvement week to week.  Everyone Swims as a member of this team, no one is left out.  We ask that if you will not be able to make a meet that you notify us as soon as possible so we can rearrange our meet line-up.  As a large team  this can take a great deal of time as you can imagine.

 

  




With Construction of the New Newton North High School underway, parking will be at a premium.  We highly recommend that members car-pool or are dropped off for practices/meets.

Monday

  • 6:30 -7:15 p.m. 8 & Under
  • 7:15 - 8:30 p.m. 9 & 10

Tuesday

  • 6:30 - 7:15 p.m. 11 & 12
  • 7:15-8:00 p.m. 13 & Older

Wednesday

  • 6:30 -7:30 p.m. 8 & Under
  • 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. 9 & 10

Thursday

  • 6:30 - 7:15 p.m. 11 & 12
  • 7:15-8:00 p.m. 13 & Older
  • Application for membership to NST is available by contacting the coaches, Scott or Mary Pohlman 617-527-7177 before 9 PM                 
Fees
  • Swim Team Fees are: $225 per swimmer
  • Prior registration is a requirement for participation on the team.  The recreation staff will have a list of registrants at the front desk, you must check in upon arrival each evening.
