Reading Your Water Meter

1. Water meters are usually located in your basement or utility room. The meter will be low to the ground, and you may need a wet paper towel, flashlight and maybe a mirror to read the numbers.

2. Use the paper towel to clear dirt and dust from the meter cover. Locate the numbers that resemble an odometer in an automobile.
 

3. We ask that you report ALL DIGITS, including white numbers, black numbers, and zeros.

4. You can also find your meter number on any water/sewer bill, located in the upper right side of your bill.
